Safety Supervisor cum Operations (based in KL)

We are looking for a Safety Supervisor cum Operations to oversee site safety and support the day-to-day operations of our projects. The role will work closely with the project team to ensure safe working practices, smooth site operations and compliance with relevant requirements.

A Day in the Life:

• Oversee and monitor safety practices and procedures at project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on any safety concerns or non-compliance.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and other safety-related activities.
• Ensure safety records, reports and relevant documentation are properly maintained.
• Support the day-to-day operations and coordination of project sites.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, workers and other relevant parties on site and operational matters.
• Assist with project documentation, submissions and other operational requirements.
• Identify and resolve site or operational issues where required.
• Ensure the project team is in compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

What We Are Looking For:

• Possess a valid Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Possess a relevant Degree in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in construction, site operations or safety.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety requirements and construction site practices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage site matters effectively.
• Willing to travel to and work at project sites as required.

Preferred

• Experience in handling CIDB-related matters and is a CIDB-registered contractor.
• Experience in both safety and construction/site operations.
• Experience with CIDB Technical Personnel requirements.
