Senior Technical Designer

A Day in the Life:

• Produce and manage detailed technical and construction drawing packages, including plans, elevations, sections, and large-scale details
• Translate design concepts into technically feasible solutions, ensuring buildability and cost-efficiency
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical submissions from contractors and vendors
• Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with local building codes, regulations, and authority requirements
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to resolve technical issues and discrepancies
• Monitor progress on site and take responsibility for design quality, accuracy and overall user experience.
• Manage drawing revisions, version control, and as-built documentation
• Identify potential technical risks and propose practical solutions during design development and construction stages
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, ensuring drawing accuracy and consistency
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required

What We Are Looking For:

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or any related field
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in interior design, with a strong focus on technical detailing and construction documentation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other BIM tools is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and detailing practices
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and submission processes
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for interior design
